Book out your own lodge for a group of up to 8 adults, or make use of the camp site on the banks of the Limpopo River and spot the hippos and crocodiles. In house catering or self-catering options available, with a turn-down service. All rooms and lodges are equipped with aircon, to shield from those warm African nights.

GAME BIRD LODGE

Birds of a feather… flock together! Game Bird Lodge is ideal for groups of 6 – 7, with a self-catering and communal kitchen, this lodge provides the getaway sanctuary that you were looking for! Three separate attached rooms, each with own en-suite bathroom, aircon, mosquito nett and turn-down service.

The communal kitchen is fully equipped with all kitchen amenities for those aspiring chefs. Each room has a small patio in-front, with seating space. Each room can be adjusted to either twin beds or a king size bed. The third room is big enough to add a single bed for a child.

MOTSWEDI LODGE

Motswedi means “source” or “spring” in Setswana – one of the 11 official languages of South-Africa. This lodge will provide you with the nourishment you need, in order to revive and recuperate from your big, busy city life!

Motswedi Lodge offers 3 thatch rondavels, each with their own en-suite bathroom. The second rondavel can be adjusted to a twin or double room and has its own kitchenette for those self-catering connoisseurs! The first rondavel is a room and en-suite only, that can be adjusted to a twin room or a double room. The third rondavel has space for 2 adults and 2 children, with a twin or double room option, and a bunker bed, for the kids. All rondavels boasts own aircon, mosquito netting, turn-down service and room service.

Motswedi Lodge can be booked individually or as a group, with family and friends.

LECHA LODGE

Lecha Lodge is ideal for a family of 4. Private and secure. This lodge can be adjusted to a twin or double room, with bunker beds, for two children. The lodge boasts its own kitchenette fully equipped with all amenities. Enjoy some family time here at Lecha Lodge, and soak up the Botswana sun out in the garden or listen to the sounds of the bush, when you lose yourself in the flames, with your own barbeque/braai.

The lodge is equipped with aircon, mosquito netting and turn down service.

TREE FROG COTTAGE

Ideal for a romantic couple’s escape or a family of 3, as a single bed can be provided for one child. Tree Frog cottage is secure and private, with its own en-suite bathroom, a kitchenette for the self-catering lovers, fully equipped with all appliances, aircon, mosquito netting and turn-down service included.

Stroll along the pathways of the bush, hear the game and wildlife right outside your door at night, enjoy a romantic dinner or pop a bottle of champers early morning when the game comes to the waterhole, all while enjoying the comfort and style of Tree Frog Cottage.

CAMP SITES 1C AND 2C

Stevensford Game Reserve provides the best the Botswana bush can offer, with these camp sites, right on the banks of the Limpopo River. Hear the hippos dance in the river and spot a crocodile bathing in the sun! The campsites are for the true bush lover, with rustic bathroom amenities and private outdoor showers. Camp Site 1C can accommodate up to 20 guests and camp site 2C up to 10.

“Donkey’s” are provided for both sites and lit just in time for warm water. Ample space for barbeque/braai, with turn-down service provided, to ensure you leisure away and enjoy the best view of the Limpopo.

Our staff is ready and waiting to welcome you at Stevensford Game Reserve Camp Sites, to assist with the pitching of tents and parking of caravans.

(Please note – No comping gear is supplied, this is a bushveld campsite only and all travellers are to supply their own camping gear and equipment)

The reserve provides ice (not included), and other basic supplies (at an additional cost), should you need.

Otherwise, laze away and make use of our in-house catering service, for that extra little comfort!
